Just so you know, These are amazing places you should visit when you get to Dubai
1. The Malls
Have a memorable sight of the fun places within the Dubai Mall, Downtown Burj Dubai. Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world by total area, includes 1,200 shops and was the most visited building in the world in 2011, attracting over 54 million visitors each year. On display within the Mall is the original
skeleton of a long-necked, whip-tailed sauropod (dinosaur) that is over 155 million years old. You can cool down with a glide around the Olympic-sized
Dubai Ice Rink within the mall just in case it’s hot outside. Other malls to explore includes Mall of the Emirates at Al Barsha where you can go skiing and
the Festival City Mall among others.
2. The Exquisite and Cultural Restaurants
Take time out to the Armani/Amal Restaurant where you can enjoy the time-honoured cooking methods, signature ingredients and the most authentic of recipes that recreate a true taste of delicious food and fine collection of wines. You can also request a terrace table so you could see the fountains show and enjoy an absolutely stunning view, the great view of the Dubai Fountains!
Other breathtaking restaurants includes Blue Jade Restaurant of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel that specializes in Asian delicacies, Ossiano estaurants with stunning views of the Ambassador Lagoon if you’re after the wow-factor Ossiano delivers, Speakeasy Bar & Restaurant and more.
3. The Aquarium and underwater zoo
If shopping in the biggest and best shops isn’t enough, the dubai mall also hosts the dubai aquarium & underwater zoo. The dubai aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in the huge suspended tank, observe dubai’s fascinating nocturnal desert animals, come face to face with huge saltwater crocodiles, walk beneath a 48-metre aqaurium tunnel, all without getting a drop on you. For those happy to take the plunge, there’s shark diving and cage snorkelling, plus many other imaginative ways to dive in. If you enter the underwater zoo, you can walk through the tunnels.
4. The Beaches
There’s nothing like enjoying the cooler months of dubai on the beach, and fortunately for us the city has lots of beaches to choose from. One of these beautiful beaches is Jumeirah beach residence, this strip of sandy white bliss is the number one beach destination for dubai visitors. There’s some wonderful water play areas for kids as well as dozens of restaurants and cafes set back from the sand. You can hire sun loungers and spend the day people-watching or dipping in and out of the warm seas.
Other beautiful beaches are Al-mamzar Beach, Kite Beach, Ghantoot Beach and Mercato Beach. Find the perfect beach for you.
5. And of course the Burj Khalifa
Dubai’s landmark building is the Burj Khalifa, which happens to be the tallest building in the world and the city’s most famous point of interest. Check out the exhibit on Dubai and the building’s history, then take the fastest (of course) lift in the world to the observation deck on the 124th floor, for most visitors this is a must do. If you are a serious photographer, you can even take a tripod with you to capture the endless panoramas towards the beach and over the city. Go at sunset if you can, as you get to see both day and night from the top.
